Job description

Start: Flexible
Length: Permanent, full-time
Coverage: Inpatient hospitalist medicine
Schedule: 24-hour shift model; rounding during the morning/day
Volume: About 4 patients per day; about 2.5 admissions per day; about 2,500 annual encounters
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, 44 beds; open ICU with no intensivist

• Inpatient admissions, rounding, and discharges
• Open ICU management
• 24/7 teleneurology available
• No procedures required
• Documentation in Meditech

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Hospitalist experience required
• Texas license (or eligible)
• ACLS and BLS required
