Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Boise, Idaho. This is a fully inpatient position offering a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule, dedicated APP support, and no call responsibilities.

Assignment Details:
Location: Boise, ID
Start Date: January 1, 2027
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Coverage: 14 shifts per month
Call: None

Practice Setting:
100% inpatient Medical Oncology
No outpatient or ambulatory coverage
10-bed inpatient oncology unit
Dedicated Oncology APP providing floor coverage and documentation support
EMR: Epic

Requirements:
Board Certified in Medical Oncology
Open to candidates needing Idaho licensure
Comfortable managing an inpatient oncology population
Credentialing: Approximately 60–90 days for providers with an active Idaho license
Licensing assistance available
