Hematology/Oncology Physician – Full-Time Locums Opportunity in Virginia | 1 Week of Call/Month

Schedule

Full-time locum tenens coverage
Monday–Friday clinic hours, approximately 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
One week of 24-hour call per month
24-hour call runs 8:00 AM–8:00 AM
Provider will maintain clinic responsibilities while on call
Position primarily floats between two affiliated facilities
Primary site coverage approximately two weeks per month, with remaining coverage split between affiliated locations
Additional telehealth consultation coverage during assigned call weeks

Assignment Details

Adult Hematology/Oncology
Approximately 15 patients per day
Mix of hematology and oncology patients
Inpatient consultations as needed
Dedicated nursing support
Infusion center and outpatient clinic settings
On-site Radiation Oncology available at the primary location
EMR: Epic

Telehealth consultations

Requirements

Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Active Virginia license required
DEA required
BLS required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Clean professional background required
Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
