The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with a Level 2 pediatric designation, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for specialized neurological care.

Physician - Neurology - Child Neurology

Job Details:

  • Full-time locum tenens coverage needed as soon as credentialed, with the option for two providers working in tandem to fulfill full-time requirements
  • Coverage includes two weeks per month of in-person clinic work (8:00am - 5:00pm) combined with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
  • Remaining two weeks per month consist of virtual hospital call coverage, providing 24-hour-a-day call support remotely
  • Ideal candidates are able to perform both in-person clinic work and virtual call coverage to ensure continuity of care
  • Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
  • Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 40 hours per week
  • Board certification required; providers who can obtain a temporary AK state license or AK Locums License while full licensure is in process will be considered
  • DEA required; BLS certification required
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
