Neurologist Needed – Inpatient Consults Only
Location: Trident Medical Center & Summerville Medical Center – South Carolina
We are seeking a South Carolina–licensed Neurologist for inpatient consult coverage at Trident and Summerville Medical Centers.
Practice Details
Inpatient neurology consults only
Fixed dates – clean, SC-licensed candidates only
One MD and one APP daily (APP typically rounds at Summerville)
Average daily census: ~20 patients
Schedule
Onsite: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
12 hours onsite + 12 hours call
Provider must remain local while on call per hospital bylaws
Call volume is typically light
Telestroke covers overnight initial stroke alerts
Clinical Requirements
Stroke and seizure management
EEG interpretation required (mandatory)
BLS certification required
24/7 APP support available
