Tennessee Neurohospitalist Locums - 24-Hour Coverage and EEG

Job description

Aya Locums is working with an established hospital-based Neurology program in Tennessee seeking ongoing Neurohospitalist coverage.

The assignment includes a mix of 24-hour coverage blocks and 12-hour daytime shifts. At the 24-hour locations, the neurologist is onsite during the day and transitions to overnight call, returning to the hospital when clinically necessary. Another location uses a straight 12-hour daytime schedule.

The Neurohospitalist will provide inpatient Neurology consultations and admissions in a fast-paced hospital environment. Routine and continuous EEG interpretation is required across all locations, and physicians must be comfortable working independently within a busy inpatient service.

Epic experience is required because the facility does not provide EMR training. Board Certified Neurologists with strong inpatient experience are preferred.

An active Tennessee license is welcomed, but this opening is open to licensing. IMLC-qualified physicians are especially encouraged to reach out, and Aya Locums can assist with obtaining the Tennessee license and required state credentials.
