Aya Locums is seeking an Optometrist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is a 6+ month assignment at a new community health clinic offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no call.

SCHEDULE

- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- No call
- 6+ month assignment

PRACTICE SETTING

- FQHC / Community Health Clinic
- New clinic location
- General Optometry
- One week of EMR training and shadowing provided
- Patient volume has not yet been established
- Comparable clinic sees approximately 32 patients per day

REQUIREMENTS

- Optometrist
- Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
- Spanish-speaking candidates preferred
- Ability to commit to full-time coverage

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- Long-term coverage need
- Approximately 60–90 day credentialing timeframe
- Local or drive-in candidates strongly preferred
- Travel and lodging expenses are not covered
