About the clinician's workday

The ophthalmologist will deliver comprehensive eye care services across clinic and operating room settings during day shift hours. Clinical responsibilities include managing 25-30 patient visits per half day and performing 2-3 surgical procedures per half day. The position requires no call coverage, allowing the clinician to focus on scheduled patient care and surgical procedures. Board certification in ophthalmology is mandatory, and prescriptive authority is essential for patient management. The clinician will work independently while collaborating with nursing staff and support personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
