Job description

Locums, Inc. is seeking a Physicians for a client in Salisbury & Cambridge, MD to provide evaluations for soft-tissue injuries, Workman’s Compensation claims, and physical therapy referrals. The position is a part-time need; 4 hours each week at both locations based around the provider’s schedule. Locums, Inc. would provide hourly and malpractice insurance.
About the Opportunity:
- Position is available immediately
- Duration will be ongoing with no sunset date
- 4 hours per location; afternoon hours preferred but very flexible
- 7-10 patient evaluations per 4-hours
- Prescribing physical therapy treatment when needed
- Typical evaluations are for soft-tissue injuries, lumbar sprain, cervical sprain, basic initial exam.
- Referrals to physical therapy and outside imaging/specialty services
- Paid training
- Paid Malpractice, Hourly compensation, Travel & Lodging provided
Position Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Maryland Physician License
- Active and unrestricted DEA License & Maryland CDS

• ASAP and On-going
• No nights or weekends
• 1099 Contract
