Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Physician Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Medical Director) Locum to work near Burlington, Washington (WA). The team is anticipating the coverage February 2, 2026, as soon as credentialed. The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.


49491 – Physician Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Medical Director) Locum Role:
· Shift: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Clinic + Call.
· Scope: Inpatient. 10-bed acute rehab unit. Daily rounding
· Support Staff: ** Accepting multiple providers. Hospitalists are consulting and as need for medical management.
· EMR: EPIC.
· Census: Ages 18+. Patients seen per day in clinic are 6-9 on the acute rehabilitation unit.
· Average patient admissions: 18-20 per month.

Requirements of the Physician Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Medical Director) Locum role:
WA state license; active, unrestricted. ** Also open to IMLC candidates.
DEA with PM&R experience is preferred.
Fellowship – Not required.
Experience to include Geriatrician, IM or FM Provider
Board Certification & ** Board Eligible.
