ACTIVE-Psych NP Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at an Inpatient Clinic in South Carolina

Job description

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for an onsite inpatient opportunity. This role requires a team-oriented provider with a positive attitude—no drama or high-maintenance personalities.

Position Details:
• Setting: Inpatient
• Schedule: 2–3 days per week (Monday preferred)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Contract: 3–6 month initial term with option to extend
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day
• Length of Stay: 7–10 days (short-term stabilization)
• Ages: 18–70 (occasionally older)
• Medicaid and Medicare required

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Daily rounding
• Participation in treatment team meetings
• Discharges and medication management

Support Staff:
• 1 Psychiatrist
• 3 Mid-level Providers
