Location: Staten Island, NY 10314 (Primarily remote with occasional on-campus visits)
Employment Type: Part-Time Contract (Independent Contractor)
Hourly Rate: $81.89/hour

✅ Key Qualifications
✔️ Education: Master’s in Nursing (Psychiatric NP)
✔️ Licensure/Certification: Active NYS RN & NP licenses, Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification (Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health), DEA registration
✔️ Experience: 3+ years in psychiatric NP clinical practice
✔️ Skills: Psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacologic management, telehealth competency, strong communication, confidentiality, and cultural competence

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Clinical Care: Psychiatric evaluations, medication assessments, management, and follow-ups
✔️ Consultation: Advise counseling staff on diagnosis, treatment, and medication considerations
✔️ Telehealth Delivery: Provide remote care while maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation; occasional on-campus sessions as requested
✔️ Collaboration: Coordinate with Counseling Center staff to optimize student care and scheduling
✔️ Compliance: Maintain clinical records, licensure, and insurance; adhere to contractual, legal, and institutional standards

✅ Examination Responsibilities
✔️ Perform psychiatric assessments and mental status exams for college students
✔️ Assess and document risk related to self-harm or harm to others; collaborate on safety planning

✅ Medical Oversight Responsibilities
✔️ Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications independently under NYS NP scope and DEA regulations
✔️ Provide clinical guidance on psychopharmacology to Counseling Center staff
