The Illinois Department of Human Services’ Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking a passionate, board-certified Psychiatrist to step into a key leadership role as Associate Medical Director at the Elgin Mental Health Center.

📍 Location: Elgin, Illinois
💼 Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried
💰 Salary: $22,967 – $24,967/month ($275,604 – $299,604 annually)
🕒 Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm

What You’ll Do:
• Lead and coordinate psychiatric and medical support services
• Supervise clinical teams and guide best‑practice care
• Serve as a subject matter expert in psychiatric medical services
• Drive quality, safety, and innovation in patient treatment
• Support Elgin Mental Health Center’s mission as a place of healing, restoration, and hope

Minimum Requirements:
• Illinois Physician & Surgeon License
• American Board Certification in Psychiatry
• 2+ years of relevant medical practice experience
