ACTIVE-Adult Psychiatrist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at an Inpatient Clinic in Alaska

Rate: $225/hour + Travel & Lodging
Orientation Rate: $190/hour

We are seeking Board Certified (or truly Board Eligible) Psychiatrists for an inpatient opportunity in Alaska. Multiple providers will be accepted.

Position Details:
- Inpatient setting
- 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off schedule
- Scheduled clinical hours + call (beeper call response within 30 minutes; phone consults)
- Admissions required
- 2:10 follow-up to evaluation ratio
- Average census: 12 patients per day
- Adult population (18+)
- Support staff includes: 2 RNs, 3 Techs, 2 NPs

Requirements:
- Board Certified required (Truly Board Eligible accepted)
- Active Alaska license required (AK license ONLY)
- Supervision required (signing off on notes and oversight during shift)

- Anxiety Disorders
- Affective Disorders
- ADD/ADHD
- Personality Disorders
- Psychotic Disorders
- Organic Disorders
- Involuntary Commitments
- Restraint Application

Required Treatment Modalities:
- Pharmacotherapy
- Group Therapy
- Family Therapy
