An outpatient facility is seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity.

The facility is located roughly 40 minutes from Atlanta, Georgia.

About the clinician's workday

The Psychiatrist will be treating an all-adult patient population. Common cases include depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, with some patients requiring injectable medications. The provider will see 4-8 patients per half day while working two afternoons a week, from 1 PM to 5 PM. Within the 8-hour weekly schedule, the Psychiatrist will also dedicate 2 hours to Preceptorship Supervision. Credentialing typically takes 2-4 weeks, and an active Georgia medical license is required. There are about 20 therapists on staff.

• Initial evaluation time: No initial Evals. All established patients
