An outpatient clinic is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is DeKalb County, about 30 minutes from Atlanta, GA.

About the clinician's workday

Psychiatrist needed for 8 hours/week of coverage. Thursday coverage for clinic day is preferred. Hours would be from 8am-5pm. Provider needs to be willing to come on-site with some flexibility for telemedicine. Telemedicine appointments will depend on patient preference. The Psychiatrist will be seeing adult patients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. There is one APRN on staff who would need supervision. There is a team meeting on Fridays from 2pm-4:30 pm that the Psychiatrist may be asked to attend a portion of. This can be done virtually. Caseload - ~12-15 PPD for initial visits and follow ups. Intake information and patient history will be provided to MD. Psychologist, social workers, and therapists on staff for collaboration.
