This inpatient psychiatric facility delivers structured forensic behavioral health services to an adult population within a dedicated clinical environment. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an ongoing basis beginning as soon as the selected clinician is credentialed.

About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services on a dedicated adult forensic unit, working 40 hours per week on-site during day shifts structured as five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days. Clinical responsibilities include medication management, orders, treatment planning, restraint debriefs, and consults with social workers for a caseload of approximately 25 adult patients. The role is assigned exclusively to one forensic unit, with no floating between units required. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team - including clinical managers, social workers, and directors - is integral to this position, and no NP supervision is required.
