Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent

Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Child & Adolescent unit. This is a weekday-only position with no call responsibilities, offering a structured schedule and strong clinical support.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call required

Clinical Details:

Patient population: Children and Adolescents (ages 6–17)
Average unit census: 25–30 patients
13 acute beds
Remaining intermediate beds (require only 3 notes per week)

Support Staff:

Residents
Registered Nurses (RNs)
Social Workers

Systems:

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Active New Jersey medical license (required)
Board eligible in Psychiatry
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry preferred
Will consider candidates board eligible in General Psychiatry
