Job description
I have worked with client for over 2 years providing consistent work load and rewarding care for patients. They are open for securing a locum to permanent psychiatrist for their established facility. Details:
- Must be BC in Psy (with experience seeing kids OR fellowship trained)
- Part-time capped at 16 hours (guaranteed)
- Crisis stabilization unit & Psy residential setting
- Up to 4 admits/discharges per week
- 30 bed unit (70-90& consensus)
- Average length of stay: 45-60 days
- Cases seen: Oppositional defiant disorder, IDD, Autism, PTSD, Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, ADHD and other stressors
- Ages seen: 10-17
- Split between calls & clinical work on crisis stabilization unit
- Ages seen 10-17
- 10-12 patients / day
