Locum Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Inpatient Behavioral Health

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity providing inpatient behavioral health coverage at an Oregon hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a consistent schedule with no call responsibilities.

32-bed adult behavioral health unit
Hospital privileges required
Adult patient population
Responsibilities include daily rounding and admissions
No call required
No procedures required
Collaborative practice environment – provider will work alongside an established care team

Schedule

10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Coverage needed 2 weeks per month
Preferred schedule is a 7-day stretch every other week (Monday–Sunday)

Qualifications

MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry
Active Oregon medical license required prior to start
Current BLS certification
