Psychiatrist Locum Opportunity – Eugene, OR

Location: Eugene, Oregon

Start Date: September 2026

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Approximately 2 weeks of coverage per month

• Preferred schedule is a 7-day stretch every other week (Monday–Sunday)

Practice Setting

• Inpatient Hospital

• 32-bed unit

• Collaborative physician team (provider will not work solo)

• Adult patient population

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding

• Admissions

• Psychiatric consultations

• No procedures required

• Average daily patient volume varies

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist

• Active Oregon medical license required

• BLS certification required

• Recent inpatient psychiatry experience required

• Applicants must demonstrate inpatient or consultative clinical activity with at least 30 patients within the past 24 months or provide qualifying residency logs or hospital quality profiles

Credentialing

• Hospital privileges required
