On Call Psychiatrist Needed in Huntingdon, PA

Job description

Work Details:
• Support staff: Psychiatric Mental Health NP (PMHNP)
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 2 weeks per month through the end of June and PRN afterwards.
• Patient population/age: adult
• Department description: Psychiatry
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 26
• Patient Volume: 12-16 ppd and typically under under 3 admissions
• Skills required: Rounding to start the day. Responsible for admission orders and to address any other emergent issues- restraint, need orders, etc, while on call.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital
• Inpatient

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, Psychiatry
• State license required: Yes, State of PA
• DEA: Required
• Minimum experience required: 1-2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: Full Privileges 60-90 days but temps in 2-3 weeks

• Rounding plus call
• 2 Weeks Per Month
• Daily Guarantee plus OT
