✨ Psychiatrist Opportunity – Community Mental Health
📍 South Carolina

Join a mission-driven, team-oriented behavioral health group providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care across multiple clinic locations in coastal South Carolina.

🕒 Schedule & Commitment
Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
37.5 hours/week (7.5-hour clinical day cap)
🗂️ 1–2 hours of admin time daily (built into schedule)
📅 6–12 month initial commitment
⏱️ Credentialing: ~6 weeks
(Onsite role; telehealth considered only in limited cases)

👩‍⚕️ Patient Population
Ages 13+ (≈90% adults)
Adult-only providers welcome
All-ages experience a plus
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry = highly valued
📊 Patient Volume
8–12 patients per day
Max 2 new evaluations/day
🏥 Practice Setting
Community Mental Health Center
Full-service outpatient psychiatric care
Cases include:
Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
Court-ordered treatment
Long-acting injectable medications
👥 Team-Based Environment
5 Full-Time Psychiatrists
PMHNPs, Therapists, RNs, MAs, and admin staff
Daily treatment team meetings

✅ Requirements
Board Certified Psychiatrist (double board preferred)
Must accept Medicaid & Medicare
Active (or eligible) South Carolina license
Community mental health experience strongly preferred
Prior experience working in South Carolina = big plus
