Job description
Headspace Counseling Services is a growing, multi‑location mental‑health practice serving the Mid‑Michigan community with therapy, psychiatric services, ADHD assessments, and comprehensive psychological evaluations. We are seeking a Clinical / Testing Psychologist to join our team and support our expanding assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults.
This role is ideal for a psychologist who values high‑quality assessment work, collaborative care, and a supportive, clinician‑centered environment. The position is hybrid, with flexibility for remote report writing and in‑office testing at our East Lansing location.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults
Complete diagnostic interviews, testing intakes, and structured assessments
Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of psychological and neurodevelopmental measures
Prepare clear, clinically sound, and timely psychological reports
Provide feedback sessions to clients and families, including diagnostic clarification and recommendations
Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric providers, and administrative staff to support coordinated care
Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation
Participate in team meetings, consultation, and ongoing quality‑improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
Fully licensed Psychologist in Michigan (Ph.D. or Psy.D. required)
Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults
Strong skills in testing intakes, report writing, and feedback sessions
Proficiency with cognitive, academic, behavioral, and ADHD‑related assessment tools
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
