Radiation Oncologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Southern Kentucky

The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support coordinated oncology patient management. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during short-term day shift coverage periods.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide clinic-based radiation oncology services Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at this on-site facility, with no call requirements. The expected patient volume is 25-30 patients per day, consisting primarily of weekly on-treatment visits along with periodic consults and follow-up appointments. Coverage is required due to a leave of absence, and board certification in Radiation Oncology is required for this assignment. On-site support is provided by two RNs throughout the coverage period.
