Job description

We are seeking experienced Diagnostic Radiologists for ongoing overnight coverage on a 7-day stretch schedule. This is a high-volume, well-structured nocturnist opportunity with consistent workflow and strong productivity expectations.

Radiologists will provide sole overnight coverage during late-night hours, making this an ideal role for confident, efficient readers who enjoy independent overnight work.

🕒 Schedule & Shifts

Shift: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM MST

Schedule pattern:

7 consecutive nights on

Followed by scheduled days off

Overtime paid if work extends beyond scheduled shift

Ongoing coverage need

📊 Productivity & Volume

Target productivity: ~90 RVUs per 9-hour shift

High, steady overnight volume with predictable workflow

Designed for efficient, experienced overnight readers

🧠 Case Mix (Overnight Body Imaging Focus)

Primary coverage is overnight body imaging with the following approximate modality mix:

X-ray: ~50%

CT Abdomen/Pelvis: ~22%

Ultrasound / Doppler: ~12%

CTA: ~9%

Other CT: ~7%

MRI: ~1%

Minimal MRI volume overnight.

🎓 Training & Background

Fellowship training preferred, but not required

Strong general body and emergency imaging experience is key

Comfortable functioning as sole overnight reader

🧾 Licensing & Credentialing (Kept Applicant-Friendly)

Active licenses in multiple states preferred

IMLC candidates will be considered

Ability to obtain additional licenses as needed

Full credentialing required due to independent overnight coverage
