Facility:
This is a well-established, hospital-based facility serving as a Level 1 trauma center and thrombectomy-capable stroke center in the Minneapolis metropolitan area. The facility operates a robust inpatient interventional radiology program utilizing Epic EMR and is looking to build a reliable pool of locum providers to ensure continued coverage.

Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Job Details:

• Interventional Radiologist needed for ongoing coverage as soon as credentialed
• Schedule: 8am-5pm hospital coverage with overnight beeper call
• Minimum of 2 weeks per month preferred
• Call coverage required with a 1:2 call ratio
• 100% adult inpatient patient population
• Approximately 10 cases per day on weekdays and 6 cases per day on weekends
• Required procedures and skills include general IR, cerebral embolectomy (no aneurysm management), and moderate sedation
• Interventional radiology coverage only — no diagnostic reads required
• Documentation via Epic EMR
• Level 1 trauma center and thrombectomy-capable stroke center designation
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency — required
• Fellowship — required
• Minimum two years of clinical practice experience — required
• ACLS certification — required
• Active Minnesota license — required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
